Antonio Cante Sacked!!!!!

Image
Today is a sad day for Tottenham fans. Antonio Conte has left the club. It was said that he left on mutual agreement, which is reasonable because it's not like he was performing bad. I guess that the team overall performance wasn't up to his standard. I don't really know all the inside details, but this was just what was given to the fans. I hoped that Cante would stay for longer but he was the one the decided to leave. I felt that he could have turned our luck around especially since he is a serial winner at all the big clubs that he has managed. The management of the club needs to change, there is something wrong behind the scenes that the rest of the fans don't know about. I think that we need a club refresh, from the players to the backroom staff, because all of the other big 6 clubs are competing or have been competitive for the past decade; and all of them have won trophies in the past decade, except for Tottenham. It makes no sense how we weren't able to win...

Tottenham recent results

Image
Since the last blog post Tottenham has played 4 games. One against Sheffield United, Wolves, AC Milan, and Not'ham Forest. The results for these games were mixed, however there were more wins than loses which is good.  First we start off with the Sheffield United game. This game was... bad. We lost to Sheffield in the FA Cup, to a team that isn't even in the Premier League. This was an embarrassing loss to us as a team that's considered the "Big 6" of the Premier League. We got knocked out of the only trophy statistically we had the greatest chance of winning. I don't know whether this was just a fluke loss or not, but regardless it is a bad loss for us.  Second we played Wolves which we lost 1-0 away from home. This is not a good response after losing to Sheffield. We didn't play well against a struggling Wolves team, which as a "Big 6" team is not good. It didn't really give me much hope for the AC Milan game that was coming up. Just reall...

Good news for once :)

Finally some good news today. Spurs actually had a comfortable win against London rivals West Ham. There wasn't anything of concern from me at least. They had a good showing at home winning 2-0 with Son and Emerson Royal scoring.  The only problem now is keeping our form, because Tottenham have a tendency to lose the next game after a good performance. Our next problem is the Champions League second leg tie with AC Milan and our premier league home game versus Chelsea, another London rival. I believe that we will do good and that they will win against a struggling Chelsea. I just can't help to feel like Chelsea might suddenly come alive when they play us, as most struggling teams seem to do against us, but I have faith in them. Anyways there wasn't that much that has happened, I am pretty happy with our performance against West Ham. So here are our goal scorers on that game. Heung-Min Son and Emerson Royal

Tottenham loses... again

Well here we go again. Lets start with the good news. The good news is that we beat Man City 1-0 at home, which for some reason seems to happen every season. We always beat them at our place but can't beat them at theirs. Its a trend that in my opinion I'm okay with because it could be wayyyy worse, especially against City. However another common trend that we have is that we literally lose a winnable game the exact next game. I don't know why this always happens to us every season. They beat a big team or win a big game against really strong teams but right after that they lose an easy game or a game that's not as good as us. Now we are stuck in 5th place with 39 points, 2 points behind Newcastle with a game in hand, after getting thrashed by Leicester City 4-1 away from home. On top of that we lost to AC Milan in the 1st Leg of the Champions League. Now I'm not too disappointed because AC Milan are a good team and we were playing away, but also because it was jus...

Tottenham up to now!

Image
Tottenham, my favorite soccer team. Tottenham is a team in London I grew up supporting, it is a team that I have followed since 2011. Tottenham isn't known as one of the most successful teams in Europe let alone England. I hate to admit it but we aren't even the most successful team on our side of London Nonetheless I have been through all the lows and the highs. I have been made fun of countless of times by my friends but when Tottenham beats their team I make sure that my friends hear about it. Anyways this blog is going to be about what Tottenham are up to these days, big news, transfers and I'm just gonna give my opinion and analysis on what I think. THIS IS GOING TO BE MY OPINION, not what I say is facts, but I'll try to make it as factual as I can. Anyways right now Tottenham are 5th in the, 1 point behind Newcastle with one less game (which isn't good). This means that Newcastle have an opportunity to go even further ahead. I personally think that Tottenham ...
