Tottenham up to now!

 Tottenham, my favorite soccer team.

Tottenham is a team in London I grew up supporting, it is a team that I have followed since 2011. Tottenham isn't known as one of the most successful teams in Europe let alone England. I hate to admit it but we aren't even the most successful team on our side of London Nonetheless I have been through all the lows and the highs. I have been made fun of countless of times by my friends but when Tottenham beats their team I make sure that my friends hear about it. Anyways this blog is going to be about what Tottenham are up to these days, big news, transfers and I'm just gonna give my opinion and analysis on what I think. THIS IS GOING TO BE MY OPINION, not what I say is facts, but I'll try to make it as factual as I can.

Anyways right now Tottenham are 5th in the, 1 point behind Newcastle with one less game (which isn't good). This means that Newcastle have an opportunity to go even further ahead. I personally think that Tottenham should be in the title race at least 3rd, we have a top manager who has won everywhere he has gone, we have 2 of the top 15 players in the Premier League in my opinion, and the capacity to support our manager (Antonio Conte) financially. I believe that if our chairman, Daniel Levy, gives Conte the financial backing that he needs to build a team that suits him, I think that we can win the league and even challenge for the Champions League. I do think that there are some old players that we need to get sell to another club during the transfer windows. These are players that have been around for a long time and I feel like they have lost motivation, and that they aren't playing with the same intensity anymore. There have been some bright spots in our team like, Dejan Kulesevski who is always dangerous when he is playing, Rodrigo Bentancure who has been solid for us, Cristian Romero who has arguably been our only good defender this season, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who has been our most intense player and a regular amongst the starters and obviously Harry Kane and Heung Min Son, who have always been top performers for our team.

All in all my first action I would take is to try and refresh our defense because that has been our biggest problem these past few seasons and also go back to focusing on our youth system which has helped us before, like Harry Kane.
